Explore After the Rain by Fiona Grimshaw, a textured coastal painting with emerald tones and metallic gold details. Resin finish, black frame, 20 x 20cm.
After The Rain is a small original mixed-media painting inspired by the quiet beauty of the coast after a passing shower. Soft, atmospheric skies open onto a grey restless sea, while the textured emerald shoreline sweeps across the foreground.
Layers of texture, subtle colour and expressive marks create a sense of movement and depth, and the metallic gold details catch the light beautifully, giving the piece an extra warmth and luminosity.
A one-of-a-kind original, After the Rain is a small piece with plenty of atmosphere.
After The Rain is an original, one-of-a-kind painting, hand-painted using acrylic inks, acrylic paint and textured paste on a wooden canvas board. It is finished with a high gloss resin and framed in a black shadow box frame.
