Frequently Asked Questions
Are your paintings original?
Yes. Every original painting is created by Fiona Grimshaw in her Yorkshire studio using professional-quality acrylics, mixed media and textured techniques. Each piece is one of a kind and signed by the artist.
Do you sell prints?
Yes. A selection of my original paintings is available as high-quality fine art giclée prints, professionally produced using archival inks on premium fine art paper to ensure exceptional colour and longevity.
Are your prints limited edition?
Where stated, prints are released as limited editions and are individually numbered and signed. Details of the edition size can be found on each product page.
Do the colours look exactly the same in real life?
I photograph every artwork as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device settings.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. I ship to many countries worldwide.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of your order. If your country isn't currently available, please get in touch and I'll be happy to provide a personalised shipping quotation.

How are original paintings packaged?
Every original painting is carefully wrapped using professional protective materials and strong outer packaging to help ensure it arrives safely.
Where appropriate, artwork is sent using a tracked and insured courier service.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive tracking details where available so you can follow its journey.
Will I have to pay customs or import charges?
For international orders, your country may charge customs duties, import taxes or handling fees. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

If you're interested in discussing a bespoke piece inspired by a particular landscape, colour palette or location, please get in touch using the contact page.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Gift vouchers are not currently available, but they're something I hope to introduce in the future.
Can I return my artwork?
If your artwork arrives damaged or there is a problem with your order, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of both the packaging and the artwork.
Due to the unique nature of original artwork, returns for change of mind are not generally accepted. Please see the Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
How should I care for my artwork?
To help preserve your artwork:
Avoid hanging it in direct sunlight.
Keep it away from excessive heat, moisture and humidity.
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not use cleaning sprays or chemicals on the painted surface.
With proper care, your artwork will be enjoyed for many years to come.
